SQUUUEEEEEEE It's 2 am here and my family's asleep but I literally just squealed out loud :aaaaa:

I loved this scene so much. This is when we are all 100000% certain that Date is falling in love with Kade. Before we only had our suspicions. And the best part-- he's SMILING about it!!!!! He's HAPPY he's falling for Kade!!!!!!! Oh it's just so perfect :aaaaa::aaaaa::aaaaa:
Yayyyyyy I'm with you on this one too!! I love it he's having all these beautiful feelings! The early throes of romance, when one is falling deeply in love ..... is touching .... moving .... the best.

[ENG SUB] Additional Sweet Moment in EP12 of 'Love Destiny' (Director's Cut Version)

Kadesurang (in Karakade) uses this poem to revenge on Date, to tell him that it's boring to look at 'the moon', which refers to Chanwad in Date's poem. And it is implied that Kadesurang also has a feeling for him, 'the moon on the ground' might refers to herself.

*The poem is hard to translate into a beautiful language. I tried to make you understand and I hope you will understand it.

**Changed from Dech to Date. I know 'Dech' is not read correctly for his name, but it is a Thai style to write it like that, like Nadech's name. Haha.

@Rosi That moon Kadesurang refered to Jaanwad not herself. Perhaps it would be enjoyable to discuss or interpret Jaanwad's, Por Date's Klong and Kade's Klon from Buppae Sunniwas's context. If we really know what were behind this poetry play, we will understand this scene and enjoy it more. Not only the translation is hard, but also the interpretation.

@Rosi Thank you for sharing the video, lovely scene.

@Rosi @phatman @... I have to tell you the moon in Kade's Klon, Kade refered to Jaanwaad not herself. There are many things about this scene that I haven't told you yet. Do you remember after listening both Jaanwaad's and Date's Klong, Kadesurang said

" Jeeab Kan Yan Klong Klon”

It means “to flirt with each other even from Klong Klon (poetry)” (I do hope I translate correctly). So there are things behind their poetry that I think you as true fans of Buppae Sunniwas may like to know more :)). I would like some time to collect information, to translate the poetry to English and to write, then to share with you.

@Amata - Oh, that interpretation is by the person who translated that Director's cut video of this scene, and allowed us to publish that translation. Well, different people takes a separate understanding of this scene, and I can also understand why she feels this is Kade referring to herself.

As for me, I don't think the poem is about Kade or Janward either.
But she did deliberately chose that poem to show off to Date she's not as stupid or as useless as he thinks she is. "She's never done it before, I doubt if she could even pen one!" That's his snooty dismissal of her abilities. What's an intelligent girl to do but fight back, yes??

I applaud Kade's poem as her way of also telling Date off & making fun of his poetry. She probably thinks his poetry is crap - all that moon business. Hers is after all a brilliant one penned by a 21st century royal on a smarter take of it. She picked a poem which laughs what's with all this cheesy howling at the moon, it's been there for ages & nothing great. The only thing it's good for is the light. Upto this episode Kade never thought of Date as anything else than a person she should be wary of, one who scolds her everyday. So it's most unthinkable to even think of him as someone she's interested or in love with - most definitely not thinking of herself as the moon, not at all! The moon he should be more interested in is the moon who walks on the ground (meaning a woman). But she's definitely not referring to herself as that woman, she speaks of any worthwhile woman in general - which he should be starting to watch out for. She's not even speaking of Janward; because Janward is speaking Date's language of the moon in the skies, not of women.

May i know what is the different between Klong and Klon? My guess is that Klon has a strict rule when it comes to rhyme while Klong is loosely structured. Because it's clear that Date and Janward's Klong sound less rhymed than Kade's Klon. Let me know if i understood it correctly.

@Rosi I agree with @Amata that the moon in Janward's and Date's poem refer to Janward since Jan means Moon. Even Kade recognized that they flirt even in the poem.
Credit to Santeti Leekit on FB. This user explained that in the novel Kade intend to encourage Janward with her poem to not underestimate herself. Janward implied that she is a lowly moon, her place is not on the sky but on the ground. So, Kade implied that the moon on the ground like Janward is rare and valuable. But Date was so lost with how good Kade's poem was that he thought Kade is that moon (the rare walking moon) instead of Janward. Luckily i saved his/her translation of the 3 poems coz i found they are easy to understand. I would love to see your translation too when you have time @Amata

Janward's poem:
The lowly moon is out-shined by the sunlight
Makes her light not bright like before
Plus the clouds obstruct her way like the wall
I, then, know my place. It's as low as the floor (ground)

Date's poem:
Though the moon is blocked and out-shined
Flocks of birds still chirp, praise her high
So the moon does care the clouds. why?
The little star shall fly to fight along with the moon

Kade's poem:
The moon on the sky is boring and easy to find
The moon on earth is precious like sapphire
The walking moon that can keep you company is utterly rare
The floating moon on the sky has nothing but the glare

Yes our girl Susie is leading a lakorn with my man Jespipat (from Leh Ratree) :cheer:Pretty excited about it personally
Really??? Jes seems to be getting popular over there. Last time I saw him he was supporting.

Punjan had a live video today on IG and he said Nak Soo Taywada (his lakorn with Prang) will air after BPS rerun come to an end. Should be on 27th July (or 17th...my listening skill is not that good so don't know which one is the correct date:risas3:). Some of us (Me, @phatman , @xodxo and a few more) are already camping on that lakorn thread. :p it's an action comedy type of lakorn. Prang plays as a mafia boss of an island and Punjan is her bodyguard. For more info, please join us there.:aaaaa:
Yay!! Excited for it!!!

Yeah, really!! He is looking so innocent!!
Anyway, I was wondering where this beautiful riverside is - it looks like Europe, but can't be Switzerland.... KC Ruj was so long ago.
Then I noticed there's a SONIA II in the background, could be a hotel? Googled & found out it's in Otaru, Hokkaido.

@Rachfull didn't you know your Samee went to Japan
*ahem* You mean my samee???

I love his voice. It's smooth, friendly, respectful, natural, warm, adorable, sweet, endearing, childlike, loving, anything is fine as we go along, joking, serious, persuasive, loveable like a kid too. I don't understand a word but the way he speaks to that girl he's so lovely, I can listen to his voice all day.

lol..i'm not that good too. I was just browsing on facebook when SDJK uploaded the poem scene. That time, there were a lot of comments from Thai fans who read the novel and they all were trying to translate the poems. I found many people agree with that user, so i quoted him/her. In the novel, there was an indication that Kade chose that poem to encourage Janward. But it didn't translate to the screen.

It is not strange if some people will have different interpretation in the same poetry. The person who know what it means in his context would be the writer. But most of them passed away. Then they let the readers, listeners be able to use their own imagination. :risas3:

I've watched the video and the translation. I m disappionted the last line dismissed. English there is much better than mine.

I m getting scared if I translate those for you :confused0: as it is not only hard to translate to the other language, but also hard to interpret the meaning to Thai

Anyway the translation in the video just say it word by word. It doesn't explain the meaning hidden. That is what I would like to talk about and don't be surprised if you find other people would think different. Perhaps you maybe right because some scenes in the lakorn are different from the book.

PS . I think the Moon in Date's Klon means woman too.

It's 1000 already I think it will keep going this way forever too.
Anyways even though I am not very active I signed up after BPS and I got interested to see the start of it all.

I have to say the lakota coming out is a miracle itself.

It was announced in 2012 and pope and chompoo were the first names attached. .

Now I like chompoo and maybe she could have pulled it off the playful version but I think she would look too not thai boran

Then chomp was confirmed and her name was fixed to the project for 3 years then came the roller coaster of p'ek changes everyone from tik to ananda to smart were name dropped.

of course people also kept asking for yakech and someone even wanted film rattapoom.

Then chompoo and rome's lakota came out I guess and suddenly everyone wanted rome even petitions were being signed.

Finally in 2015 after 3 years of back and forth the proper cast was announced.

Then came people saying pope had a second lead look and he was not handsome and punjab should've been lead and all.

It took 42 pages to finalize the cast guys and I cannot imagine if even one person was changed right down to the minor roles.

Then I read through and saw that the momentum was slowly building up until ep 4 when suddenly shit hit the fan and everything became a topic. Hundreds of pages flying by in a day all the pervy fangirling and finally the wait for everything.

I don't think any drama ever can replace this one. it has occupied a special place with all the friends of the LSP squad

And I don't think anyone can replace pope. I always feel actors in lakorns are acting that sometimes they portray the characters very well but pope in this lakorn gave me the feeling that he was por date that he was just living and we just peeping in on him if you ask me.

So did anyone else go back like me to wonder how it all began.

CHEERS to everyone and after 2000 pages I'll be back with a post again :cheer::pancarta:
