Art looks good here...i don't know who she is but she's a good singer. I need more ep to judge.

I'm just sick of angst! Hopefully not too many misunderstanding...

She was Miss Thailand Universe 2014. This is her second lakorn as a nang'ek. Her first was Sao Noi Roy Larn with Por T. It was a pretty good lakorn for an evening lakorn and both Maeya and Por were good.

Trapped in MueyxTian's World! ❤️
I’ve watched every episode and oddly Maeya doesn’t really stand out. But I think she would suit looktung/morlum or country singing style Lakorn. But they would need to pick some p’ek that matches her.. Mai or Great would suit her!!

I’m glad this lakorn is making me enjoying and laughing my butt off through Bests character. She’s super duper hilarious.

Cant wait til Monday 55 glad it’s airing every weekday!

This lakorn is ok... kinda slow progress..I enjoy the supporting ppl.

She over act... the dancing and singing is over too... she sing well but her movements makes me cringe... she's ok during the slow songs, I cried her. I like that song sang as a duet. Is that lady a singer? She's good...more natural flow...

I'm actually looking to see Da and foreign guy and how'd they'll progress..

Lol He's goes...owww...my ass

I like Maeya and Art chemistry they are so cute together. Her bickering scenes with him are cute as well. Some of Art facial expressions reminds me of Aum A. By episode 3 she is getting better and I feel her emotions when she is all broken cause of her mom. She can emote and her lines delivery are not cringy anymore. And I like the colour of her outfits here. All light colours which highlight her beautiful chocolate skin and she got a model body.

I like Benz and Willy’s Verizon. It was quite funny. I haven’t started on this yet. Wonder what they changed in this version. I like Meaya after watching some of the clips from her and Por’s lakorn. Not too fond of Art after his scandal though.

He admitted to cheating on Namfon Patcharin after a transgender came out to say that he spent the night with her in her condo. Art said nothing sexual happened, but who will actually believe it? He said he and Namfon were already on the rocks at that point. it was a toxic relationship. There were rumors that Namfon cheated on Art with First. Not sure if you watched Club Friday celeb stories, but there is one scene where rising nang'ek was found by her mom on set in rising actor/singer trailer. That was loosely based off Namfon and First.

It’s a remake of this lakorn. It’s the same name.

I am more of a Willy fan but remembered Benz in here because I was genuinely hurt for her character when she realized pra'ek wasn't attracted to her because of her skin color. However, she had the happy-go-lucky attitude and carry on and eventually he fell for her. Benz is not light skin nor is she dark, but in the older version lakorn in some scenes, they had applied darker make-up on her and sometimes had an afro as well as braids ( offensive to some now a day). From what I remember, pra'ek hired her to be his girlfriend because of his dad (don’t remember if it's because he forced to get marry or inheriting the company), but it turns out Pra'ek's dad secretly also countered pra'ek offer. I just remember it wasn't heavily drama or lots of misunderstanding.

Yes, it wasn’t a heavy drama or a silly one. Yes, Benz wasn’t that dark skinned. I didn’t like how they had her put on a fro or darken her skin, but I didn’t mind too much because this on had a good storyline. I wasn’t a big fan of Benz either, but I remember really liking her acting in here. I also felt hurt for her character.

OMG, it's airing!!!!

I loved this drama when it first aired. Didn't understand a word of it, but I am a die hard Benz lover. I think because for me, when I first saw her I actually thought she was a black Thai actress. She looked biracial to me. I know her actual skin colour, which I found to be pretty dark, in and of itself. I wasn't happy with the darkening, but I was impressed that Thailand was willing to make a story like this. Thailand is a progressive nation. We have Japan still making black face and turning Blacks either into criminals or making them into rasta clowns. Korea is the worst criminals of them all---I won't even go mentioning what they say there---thank God they don't mention them. I'm glad Korea sticks to Whites and pretends that Black people don't exist until one of the characters wants to escape and find themselves by becoming some sort of missionary in Africa. Thailand actually has black-Thai actors (side-lined) and I have seen two stories dealing with Afro-Thai women lead characters. This one being the better of the two. Also, this is now the first one with a dark-skinned female lead!

That being said. I haven't seen this show but I have seen the original 20+ times. I have no doubt Maeya would be great in this one...I'm not sure about the lead. I think since I saw Andrew Gregson acting--he's ruined me for all other channel 3 men (well I'm still a Tik fan--but he doesn't put his all into the ladies since his marriage. Love Ken, but he doesn't fit Maeya.) Andrew would have been popping in the role, but I get they probably want someone younger. Whatever.

The storyline was slightly comedic. There was some heavy racial/racist commentary that they sort of washed over. The lead character was hella racist---almost made her seem dirty any time she touched him. If you ever watched Pepe Le Pew and the cat--that was sort of the storyline. The key thing was the character and her mum were strong people. Her biracial upbringing and angst with it helped give her a major backbone so things washed over her. She could get angry but she'd kick your ass. Her mother raised a strong woman and her mother is a strong woman.

The only issue I ever had with the story, was that I never knew what happened to her father.

My favorite line of the original story was when the father said he'd like some "caramel colored grandbabies" <--- there were no subtitles but for some damn reason I did understand that! Don't ask how I knew that.

I can't wait to see Maeya's acting and singing. The original drama had some beautiful songs, so I'm going to love to see the songs here and I'm glad I'm going to hear her voice!!! Off to watch somewhere..w

Wait where do I watch it?! Who might sub this?!

So Maeya character is supposed to be mixed with black ? Anyway on first episode you can find her a lil over the top with "happy go lucky" vibe but after two episodes she is getting more at ease with her character. She can emote. And I find her pretty plus she is tall ☺. Maeya is working hard to become better actress. So I hope her next drama she gets to play an intelligent rich HiSo character .
